Version 2.3 (Build 82) on iTunes Store and Google Play Store

  • Offline mode introduced so that users can track time without a WiFi or data connection available. Automatically syncs data to Salesforce when a data connection / WiFi becomes available
  • Option for users to be Clocked In/Out and Checked In/Out from the Everyone page based on the options selected in the Clock-in Multiple Users field within Salesforce
  • Introduced a new page called My Hours that lets the User see key statistics about recent checkins, clockins, hours worked
  • Introduced a new page called Messages that lets the User see all Messages sent to him/her by the Time Tracker administrator from Salesforce, from Project Assignments, Project creation
  • Introduced a new page called Projects that shows additional details about Projects
  • Introduced a new page for requesting Paid Time Off. User can request PTO for either a few hours on the same day or for multiple days
  • Introduced a Recent tab within the PTO page that allows the User to see all recent PTO requests that s/he has made. Provided ability for the User to delete PTO requests where the status has not been changed within Salesforce by a Manager
  • Ability to Check in with NO tabs, meaning that the User does not have to select a Project / Task / Worktype
  • Introduced multiple language options. Currently support English, Spanish and German. User can select language from the Settings page
  • Introduced Always Refresh Lists button on the Settings page that allows for data on the screen to be refreshed automatically when switching between pages. If this button is set to off, data is only refreshed when the User clicks on the Refresh button on the app menu bar. This reduces API usage on Salesforce
  • Introduced additional options on the Settings page. Options for Clearing Data, Clearing the Time Tracker Calendar, for Syncing items to the Calendar, Working Offline.

 

Version 1.39 in the Salesforce AppExchange

  • Automatic creation of the first Time Tracker user for the person installing Mobile Time Tracker
  • Automatic email sent to installer with details of AppKey, Employee ID and password, so that s/he can immediately test out the app from the iTunes OR Google Store
  • Text message (SMS) sent to every new Mobile Time Tracker user upon User creation with details of AppKey, Employee ID and password
  • Ability for Time Tracker Administrator to send app messages from within the system to one or more Time Tracker Users. Messages delivered as Notifications on the selected Users’ mobile phones. Messages also show up as Messages within the Time Tracker app on the User’s phone

Bugs fixed

  • Removed the “Calendar not enabled for your Org” message that used to pop-up multiple times
  • Fixed the “Unknown Error” message that showed instead of “Wrong AppKey entered”
  • Fixed bug that allowed login with old password even after resetting password
  • Fixed issue to allow login with new pasword upon pasword change
  • Fixed bug that did not save photos in Salesforce
  • Introduced a new alert message when user keys in the wrong password in the Old Password field for Password change
  • Fixed issue with Clock In button not getting changed to Clock Out when screen was locked
  • Fixed issue with old notifications appearing with every sync. Now only new notifications appear on each sync
  • Fixed issue with mutiple activities getting created on Calendar for the same Project Assignment
  • Fixed issue such that only logged in Users’ calendar items are synced
  • Clear Calendar now clears only items from the Mobile Time Tracker calendar
  • Each notification now creates only one entry in the Calendar.
